The next event for Pokémon GO has just been announced on the official website. The event starts on the 23rd of October at 1pm PDT, and lasts until the 1st of November 1pm PDT. It features the following:

• Double Candy for caught Pokémon
• New Pokémon including Drifloon and Stunky
• Shiny Drifloon release
• New Special Research task involving Spiritomb
• Giratina in Raid Battles until the 20th of November, 1pm PST
• Increased spawns of Dark and Ghost-type Pokémon

We’ll update the article with more details, given the lack of mention of other generation four Pokémon that would suit a release now, such as Mismagius and Honchkrow, and whether extra Candy can be earned through other actions or not like previous Halloween events.
