The demo of Pokémon Sword and Shield that was playable at E3 has been announced to be at the 2019 North American International Championships event taking place in the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio from June 21-23, 2019. The event features tournaments for the Trading Card Game, Video Game Championships, and Pokkén Tournament in which competitors vie for the top spot for prizes and enough Championship Points to gain an invite to the World Championships. In addition to the main attraction are side events that both competitors and spectators can participate in, and this time a playable demo of Sword and Shield will be among them.
