Update 17th June: Dataminers have confirmed all Pokémon added to the game files for the Part 1 Isle of Armor update.

The news today that Pokémon Sword and Shield is receiving DLC (Downloadable Content) came as a surprise, alongside free updates to the game. One of the additions is that over 200 previous generation Pokémon will be added to the game. You can transfer them over to Pokémon Sword and Shield via Pokémon Home when it releases in February 2020, or catch them in the areas available through the Expansion Pass.

But what are these Pokémon? Here is our list of the ones we spotted in the Direct and the official website, updated as the DLC parts release. Later we’ll update our Analysis of the Galar Dex article with a break-down of type distributions, generation representation, and more with this list. We are presuming all pre-evolutions and evolutions of sighted Pokémon are also included.

Additionally we have two new Pokémon related to the Regis. These have been confirmed recently, but are brand new Regis rather than reskins of existing ones. The alternate versions of the Kanto Legendary birds have been confirmed to be Galarian forms. These total 6, with 3 of these to be added via part 2 (Galarian Slowpoke and Slowbro are already available, as is regular Slowking).

All in all, we know of (previously 94) 155 returning Pokémon so far of the 200+ we can expect, with 102 added already through the Isle of Armor update. Which ones are you hoping to see make it into Pokémon Sword and Shield?
