This year has proved more leaky for the Pokémon franchise than an overflowing Polteageist. The trend has continued with the discovery of new 3DS files, primarily focusing on the seventh generation titles Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, spanning development years of 2014 to 2017. Not much has been dug out of the files as yet, but a key discovery has already appeared.
ÚLTIMA HORA: Filtración del código fuente de USUM confirma que inicialmente Game Freak reservó espacio para dos juegos adicionales ubicados en Kalos, aunque los planes nunca se materializaron. pic.twitter.com/4KnZipcBnf

The above tweet states that source code from Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon shows other games that space had been ‘reserved for’ by Game Freak. From the naming, it is clear there are two additional games to the generation six titles, Pokémon X and Y, that were planned at some point involving Kalos!
Whether these games were enhanced versions of the original (ala Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon), or sequels is not known. But it is cool to see that at some stage there had been plans for another adventure through Kalos.
What else do you hope will be found in this latest spat of leaks?
